4th of July @ Fountain Lakes - 2016

The FLRA Board of Directors are excited to announce a 4th of July spectacular - organized by Jaimee Chumley!  Jaimee has outlined a fantastic 4 day affair that will blow your firecrackers sky-high!  As always, we need your help and support to make the weekend great for everyone.

July 1, 2016 – Friday Night 

 

  • Movie on the lawn / Flick N’ A Float

  • Bring down your reclining lawn chairs, and enjoy the show.  

  • Glow sticks galore, POPCORN NIGHT, and cooler full of kids drinks provided;  Don’t forget the off! 

  • Fishing Tournament begins 12am 7/2 and winners announced Monday at the Day on the Lawn (rules forth coming)

 

July 2, 2016 Saturday 

 

  • Movie on the lawn / Flick N’ A Float

  • Bring down your reclining lawn chairs, and enjoy the show.  

  • Kids Crafts 6pm by the pool area 

  • SMORES NIGHT, and cooler full of kids drinks provided;  Don’t forget the off! Glow sticks galore

 

July 3, 2016 Sunday 

 

  • Movie on the lawn / Flick N’ A Float 

  • Bring down your reclining lawn chairs, and enjoy the show.  

  • Kids Crafts 6pm by the pool area 

  • WATERMELON NIGHT, and cooler full of kids drinks provided; Don’t forget the off!

 

July 4th -  Festivities and Fireworks

  • Yard Yahtzee, Family Feud, Tattoo station, Snow cones, Scavenger Hunt, Washers, Volleyball

  • Weekend Long Fishing Tournament (prize will be based on donations to a basket of Lake fun items, fishing lures, floats, bobbers, towels, sunglasses, etc.)

  • Kids craft table

Contests

1.  Boat Decorating Contest – (Most Patriotic, Best Lights, Best Theme (Elvis, Disco, etc.) & Sad Sailor)


2.  Porch decorating Contest (Most Patriotic)

 

– All votes have to be in by 10pm on the 3rd to be announced during the festivities on Monday. (Ballot boxes will be stationed at the pools and 1 near the dock) numbers will be assigned to the porch and boat wishing to enter to win. Porches display their number outside where judges can see, boats can tape theirs down on their dock slip)
